Because I Can Do Anything I Want Today

I'm going to say this is officially the best cover ever.

I will brook no argument.

Put on the headphones and spend the next seven minutes with me and Diana.

    Hmmmm, that's a pretty good cover, and I did get chills from hearing the divine Ms. Krall handle it so well.

    But, in my mind, the penultimate cover of this song belongs to k.d. lang.

    Happy birthday, late (or perhaps not late, having read your next post)! I'm familiar with the song and the lang cover. I don't think I'd heard Krall do it before, even though I too am a big Krall fan.

    It's a great song, no matter who's doing the singing.

    I haven't been to a live concert, except a few jazz festivals and classical performances, in probably over a decade. Sad.
