Fair enough, Hopkins would be wonderful, but the thing that excites me about this type of project, is that people who don't "do Shakespeare" will see this film because it is Pacino.

And I love Al Pacino.

So what about the daughters?

Seconded. And I presume it won't be all modernized to make it palatable to modern audiences.

Winslet should do Regan. (Have you seen the Olivier King Lear? Dame Diana Rigg was a killer -- ha! -- Regan and those are big shoes to fill.)
