Oh nuts! That's the last thing you need.
We're due. It's been since summer of 2003 since Claudette hit us. We dodged Rita a couple of years ago, so we're due.
Maybe this one will head South.
I hate to wish it on someone else, but there it is.
my sister is in Corpus so I know what ya mean.

I forgot about that. As of right now (9:53 PM Central) It looks like she will be a bit closer than me.
Oh my gosh! I hope all is well. We only have to worry about volcanos and earthquakes here (not that I fond of either!) Please be safe and the same for pido's sister.
Oooo... not good. Hope she settles down before hitting land.
I hear she just upgraded to Category 1 Hurricane. Looks like she's headed a bit farther south than she was before, but I'm guessing you'll still get some interesting (*ahem*) weather.

We were hoping that she would come in far enough north to bring us some significant rain but it looks like she'll be too far south. We can still hope, though.
