Rough Weekend

Where do I start?

My sister came to town. I went to see her at her friends. You shouldn't have to take a Xanax before you visit your family.

I'm just sayin'. . .

Sunday, an innocent afternoon boating trip turned potentially fatal. Everyone is fine, but it could have ended much, much worse than it did.

I took the day off yesterday to recover.

I don't know what else to say, except maybe cut the sister loose already and I'm glad you and yours are ok.

I second Bitty on the hugs and being glad everyone's okay. Yikes!

Also glad you were able to take a day off! Hope it produced the desired effect.

Oh, my. I hope you're okay. I'll send some good thoughts your way.

Note to self: no Xanax for family get togethers, stick to alcohol.

I can definitely relate to the desire for a Xanax where familial encounters are concerned. In my case it's my mother for reasons to numerous to go into here. Living far, far from home has ONE advantage. Let's just say, if she wasn't my mother, I'd have nothing to do with her. You may just have to spell it out for your sis. For your own sanity.

If it's any consolation, you are not alone.

I'm really sorry to hear about both of your anxious events. Hope you are feeling better now.

Big hugs from Saratoga.

Yikes! I'm so glad you and yours are OK. This year has me particularly sensitive and paranoid about people I care about. *hugs*
