The World Is Full Of Stupid People

I'll admit it.

I'm not the best speller in the world.

In fact, I'm not even as good as I used to be, because spell check has made me lazy and I know, if need be, I can correct myself. However, if I'm writing something by hand, I check words I'm not sure of before I proceed. I'm not stupid, I'm just a poor speller.

So, if I were a tattoo artist, I'd keep a Webster's handy. You know, just in case.

I recently discovered a blog which includes examples of this problem.

I shudder, also, to think how many Kanji on people's backs, arms or chests are really Chinese or Japanese swear words or insults. Wouldn't it be justice?

(I prefer meaningful symbols to written word tattoos.)

I'm glad to hear the hurricane Dolly missed you.

OMG, tell me that is not a real tattoo! That is too bad, maybe they can fix it.

My son, DK, has lots of tattoos. The funniest one is a treasure map on his back leg.

Hope your summer is in full swing.

My guess is that he now has incentive to save up the coin to fix his tatoo. We've all done something that seems insurmountable, yet nothing is. (well, most things anyway.) After the storm, maybe some biased support is warranted. I think this guy could very well use some. :)

riffing on DCup and Mpnty Python "Perhaps he died while tattooing it?"

Is that kid 12? What the hell?

Oh, I think that a lot of people (not just God) are going to be "juging" that artistic collaboration.

I think this is literally "ink" as in someone made this for him in pen ink... thus the 12 year-old appearance. :)

Not a big fan of tattoos, but I think yes, if you're going to get one, make sure it's not stupid.

I was watching a History Channel documentary this weekend about the history of English. (Yeah, I know, I'm such a geek.) When low and behold, they said that the Norman French word "juge" integrated into the English language as the word "judge". So, perhaps the person who inked this kid was trying to show off his wicked Norman French language skillz. ;-)

Ouch. In more ways than one.
