Merry Christmas

Well, since it's been 5 days since I've posted, I thought I'd let you all know that I'm alive. I just haven't felt real "bloggy" this week.

This is a hard, hard, hard time for me, and I've been trying to stay very, very busy so it can pass.

It has somewhat been working.

I have very good friends who take very good care of me.

I worked Friday, went to Houston Saturday and Sunday, last night I spent Christmas Eve out at the bayhouse (aka: Rancho Gordo) with D&L's family. I was delighted to see that my dear friend Tink was there with her husband and lovely daughters.

The kids come home tomorrow and I can hardly wait.

At present, it is straight up noon CST Christmas Day 2007. I am in sweatpants, drinking excellent coffee enjoying Christmas morning with 4 of my favorite ladies.

(In no particular order because I have the CD player on shuffle all disks):

Lucinda Williams
Amy Winehouse
Edie Brickell
Norah Jones

Right this minute I'm hearing this :

Merry Christmas to all of you who helped me through the year. Trust me friends, if you read and commented here this year, you did help me through it.
Stay tuned!! My blogaversary is right around the corner!!

sounds like a good day... I am having a Big Love marathon myself. Nothing says the holidays like polygyny!

I did manage to get one present this year. My friend Jenn sent me a rock she found for me in China. I am terribly excited. I collect rocks... don;t know if I ever said that.....

I always look for interesting rocks when I go somewhere.

I bring them home as souvenirs.

Merry Christmas Heather!!

Merry Christmas! I am with the fam today, two parents and three siblings (in addition to myself) and one deer grazing in the yard. The deer isn't part of the family, he's just visiting. :)

Hope you all enjoy the day and partake of good food and drink!

Merry Christmas, Sir Robin!

I am having a brain malfunction. You've been visiting my blog for eons it seems and I could have sworn up and down, left and right that you were on my blogroll. It's not there under "Sir Robin Rides Away" so I'm adding it.

Do you ever remember seeing it there? Maybe I deleted it by accident but I try to be careful when screwing around in the blog template. I probably never had it there.

Seems like it was there ions ago.

Thanks for putting me back in the mix!!

I assume your weather today is as great as mine - I'm loving it!!

Hope you guys are having a great day.

Merry Merry, Sir Robin. Hang in there--we all have our holiday issues (don't get me started), but the children manage to get me through the worst of things, always. I'm glad yours will be back home tomorrow. My eldest is going to NY to visit his uncle, and I'm so ambivalent about him leaving, he's only 15...waaaah.

Well, have a quiet and peaceful evening, and keep on keepin' on in 2008.

Cheers and much love,
Deborah
